e know that staying in touch and staying safe go hand in hand. Select Study Abroad supplies students with a free Italian cell phone from Piccell Wireless. This special feature of our program enables students, parents, and staff to communicate as easily and inexpensively as possible. Calls and texts between Piccell phones are free so students can feel free to make unlimited calls to each other and their directors. Students register online to receive their phone prior to departure from the U.S. Most importantly, the phone is delivered ready to use, allowing students immediate access to their cell phone upon arrival.

Students are welcome to bring personal phones from home in addition to the free international cell phone provided by Select Study Abroad. Note: using an American phone abroad can be very expensive, we recommend calling your provider before using your phone out of the country.
